AirHempy Purple Trainwreck - Benign Neglect Grow

Hey RIU,
I've just topped and switched to 12/12 with 4 purple trainwreck girls from HSO. Their in a setup I'm calling an AirHempy under an induction tube and several t5s with ZooMed florasuns.

As far as an AirHempy goes, its basically an airpot filled with a hempy medium (right now I'm running 75/25 perlite/coco) stuck in a big catch tray with an airstone in it.

The point of this grow is to give the KISS method a push all the way to what I'm thinking about as 'benign neglect'... this is a similar goal to what DANKSWAG was doing with his PHOGS system but I'm stripping it down to absolute barest minimum.

The nutes are all already loaded--Osmocote Plus Outdoor/Indoor Pro. I threw a couple handfulls in the top 4-6" of each container.

Now I'm going to just sit back and let it do its thing, filling the reservoirs only when necessary. I'll probably water the containers directly once in a while, but the idea is not to monitor pH, temperature, humidity or anything. Straight up just put it in the environment and let it work.
Part of the reason I'm doing this is because I'd usually just let the room go pretty dormant because I have difficulty heating it in the winter. This way, I'll see what absolute minimal effort input can yield!
Next time around I'm going back to organics anyway--soil will be self-recycling by this evening.

Anywho, pics at lights on! And, this is where i'll be posting updates, but, since it is benign neglect, i probably won't be posting super frequently.

Be easy,
:peace: :leaf: :peace:

You can kinda see that each catch tray has an airstone. I'm about to top up the reservoirs tomorrow and they'll go several days, maybe 10 or so before they'll need anything again. Should start to stretch in a day or so too, so we'll see!
