One fan is enoughdo I need two different exhaust fans for my 4 x 4 tent. One to pull the hot air out of the air cooled hood and one exhaust fan to suck air out of my tent to outside ? Is it possible to use one intake fan to suck air out of the tent and the air cooled light as well?
ThisYou can use one fan for air cooling and exhaust for an area that small.
Hood->Fan->Exit
or
Carbon Filter->Hood->Fan->Exit
If I set it up Carbon Filter->Hood->Fan->Exit will any smell leak out of the tent ?You can use one fan for air cooling and exhaust for an area that small.

You can but it's more efficient to have the fan pulling through the hood as opposed to pushing.Could i do filter>fan>hood>exit

Yeah I get it now. Will this set up still mask odour since ill be getting rid of the tent air outside my basement window ?You can but it's more efficient to have the fan pulling through the hood as opposed to pushing.
Yes just make sure you have a good seal between the glass and your hood. If your hood is leaky and you still get odor then having the fan push air through the hood may be a better idea since it will have positive pressure and push air out of any leaks as opposed to negative pressure sucking air in through any leaks in your hood.Yeah I get it now. Thanks I appreciate it . Wouldn't be a problem to have the fan set up outside of the tents vent or do i want the fan inside the tent ?Yes just make sure you have a good seal between the glass and your hood. It doesn’t matter, whatever works best for your situation. If the tent is in a bedroom, mounting it in the tent might be slightly quieter but not by much. Hanging the fan & filter with rope ratchets or bungee cords will reduce a lot of the vibration. The fans tend to produce a lot of vibration and noise when hard mounting them to a surface.Thanks I appreciate it .
