Adding lights need help

I currently have 12 plants under 2x 600w hps bulbs. I'm just finished setting up my new bigger room with 6x600w hps ... I'm going to move them into their new room tomorrow and under all 6 lights .. my question is can the plants handle the extra 4 lights straight away or do I need to be careful here ?

If the lights are spread out properly the light intensity should be the same.

Yeah lights are all spaced evenly in 2 rows same space between each light.. thanks
