hi

i found a new brand of bulbs..........Solis Tek

looking at the ratings compared against horilux and ushiso.........these seem to be better

110 lumens from 1000w hps .......this was the normal number but they are reporting 150k lumens from their 1000w hps

now my ? has anyone out there have u tryed them and if so are the claims true are they pulling 150k and do their bulbs offer better UV then the other HId bulbs

I stand by a solis ballast (although I've heard rfi stories) but they can stick their lamps right the fuck up sunpulses ass because that's all they are, Custom spec sunpulse lamps branded solis.
I bought one and ran it a cycle. Upon taking it back out I noticed the brass base was loose to the glass.
And as for sunpulse I have a 10k kelvin mh that has a bulge in it and hadn't even been used much.

i never seen anything in Hid bulbs claiming to be 150k

that is 5k more then what i use to have (2 600w Mh and a HPS ) ...............yah i sawl that 10k on the uv rating on it is nice i was thinking of getting for the last week of flowering see if it really does make a diff with the resin

yah i have the matrix ballast ove that built in timer and saftey check if power goes in and out ................that is why i was willing to try the bulbs i just wanted some feed back from other ppl

well the thinking is
the 150k lumens might be the prefect coverage for a 5x5 area with the correct reflector

as it stands u get prefect with a 1000w 110k lumens 4x4 ........that is where u get the most power/use out of the light

i was using 2 600w hps and mh at the same time doing a 2x2 grow(2 grow 2 flower premit cycle) but the demand for it got to more then that could handle so i change to a 4x4 the new tent i thought best to go with a 5x5 for flowering

hps and soil is fine so i keep it going this way build anouther 10k back up and redo it to full led and hydro (grow tent is 2 300w led pannels lower amps)
