7 weeks of flower, how much longer?

First grow, using a 4x2x5 tent under 400 watt HPS, fox farm soil and trio nutes....wondering how much longer I might have? I'm buying a magnifying glass tomorrow to check out the trichomes....I'm wondering if they will fatten up anymore...I'm impressed so far, even though I had a severy Cal deficiency in week 4 of flower.

Also, should I start a flush? I know it's a taboo topic, but I decided to try it, but not the one time flush, just water from there on out...

Any tips appreciated

Hard to tell without seeing the trichs but I'm going to say you have a week and half to 2 weeks to go. Buds generally fatten up alot the last week or 2. I let mine go until I think they're ready and then give them another week. Trichs are usually 75% cloudy 15% Amber 10% clear for me. Also with the Fox trio your better of flushing than not. A better safe than sorry kinda thing. Plain h20 with 3x normal amount of run off then straight h20 to harvest. Good luck and happy growing.

I'd think at least 2 weeks. What strain? Usually what I do when dealing with a new strain I have not grown before is search for grow reports or type in "(name of strain) flowering time" and it is very likely someone has already asked somehwere...
Solid advice nxs. That's pretty much the idea

I agree with 2-3 weeks depending on the strain. Whatever you do, don't try to rush it or chop early. As most have already told you, they really swell up in the last week or 2. Keep them green and healthy till the end. Look for about 10%-15% amber.

I really like this post except for the flushing part. No need to ever flush unless you see toxicity. If you are feeding properly there is just no need. But other than that, great advice.

Thanks Gary. I agree with you on the flushing part, and from the avatar pic I can't see any toxicity or nute burn. So petro I believe you are good to go. You shouldn't need to flush unless you start seeing burnt leaves stunted growth or toxicity. Keep an eye in those trichs sometimes at the end they can change fast. As for flushing some say the last few days just to get any salts away from the roots so the plant can use what's in it's cells first. Some feel it helps smooth out the smoke in the end. But then again as stated by Gary it shouldn't be a problem of your feeding correctly.
