660nm doing anything?

I have been using straight 3000k strip light in one room and QB with red in another for years. In my situation at least there is no difference in quality, yield, or most importantly potency. I have done same plant in both at same time, different plants in each then switched up. If anyone else that is using both has noticed any difference i would like to hear about it.

myself havent noticed a difference in the outcome using plain 3200k or combined with 660nm.
but that doesnt mean much as i have no side by side comparsion myself.

basically the 660nm ones are more efficient then broad white ones.
its easy to measure how much ppfd they put out, its quite some per watt.
their wavelengh is used very well by the plants also.

you probably reached a saturation point by using 3000k themself.
question is if your 660nm can produce the needed photons with less wattage.

years ago I grew with 3500k 90 cri cobs and now I grow with 4000k+630+660 qbs

honestly minimal difference I wouldn't think anything of switching back

Electrical & supposedly photosynthetic efficiency basically. longer colas, bigger leaves can be observed by some. Needs 730 to work better & can still get better then this enhanced further. But wh/ or wh/+660 are very similar.

If you want to notice any significant difference you need far red. Or a large amount of 660 bordering not to much. If they Bleach at high intensities then the spectrum is off balance. 630,660,730 is the combo with a wider blue over 20%. 660 alone isn't going to increase quality and Minimum yeild gains.

Photons are photons.
More photons=more yield.
