I now have lights on at 6am. Can I stay dark till 6pm and change lights on at night now instead of day for heat issues. I’m growing in a outdoor non insulated wood framed shed with a real roof and it’s sided just no insulation inside and no Sheetrock. It’s a 20x15 pool shed. 07A9E2C4-BE5E-4A7B-965D-41661E4CDEFD.jpeg

I'm curious as what you are using to control the environment inside the shed such as humidity and temperature. Even with the lights off in the 90 to 100゚ summer day can reach 120 in the shead. And in winter you got a whole new set of problems.

I wouldn't recommend it, your almost to the finish line..no need to risk killing your plants for a few weeks of different light schedule. Id push thru til the end & take it as a lesson for your next grow. You could possibly herm them out by doing that!

2 portable a/c and a dehumidifier and a heater for nights it drops below 65 What new problems in the winter. The shed has its own electric panel and I have total control over the environment. I do have trouble keeping it below 83 on a 95 degree day and I would put them in the sunshine outside on a sunny day from the start. So no stress there.

Heat stress isn't always a bad thing either, it stresses the plant & produces more trichs & res! They make a product that tricks your plant into thinking it's heat stressed ..I've yet to try it but hear it works amazingly & makes your whole plant sparkle!
