42 Days into Flower.....are these turning amber or red????

I am 42 days in on an unknown stran from bag seed.

This is my FIRST plant so i have been putting veg+bloom in every three days and watering in between. On CFL'S 5 big ones...no clue on the wattage....using what i've got!

So if anyone can tell a yield or stran that would be awesome but im trying to figure out if my pistils are turning brown the way they should!

looks good and everything is fine with your pistols, they will recede and new ones will come out. when they receed they turn brown. that plant still have 4 weeks maybe more left to grow judging by the pistols. also looks verry sativa dom so dont be surprised if she goes 10 weeks in flowering. be patient its worth the wait.

is it too soon to trim some fan leaves or does that not happen? I feel like the plant stretched so much so these huge leaves take in alot of the light.

They look nice. Careful feeding the veg nutes this far in. They look nice and green i'd be cutting them back about now. Maybe a quarter tsp along with your bloom nutes. I feed small doses of N until the 6th week of flower. Then straight bloom nutes. Good luck! And don't trim the leaves!

when should i stop giving the nutes? i have some foxfarm bloom is it ok to just switch over to that overnight? i wont trim any leaves but there huge and annoying lol

any one know what stran? i think its a kush of some sort but dont know.

geez ten weeks! so does that mean these buds should still double in size then?

With a single untopped plant you actually really dont have to worry about it as long as all of your plant/buds are getting ample coverage which it looks like they are. I was just replying to his post in specific.

GOD NO dont trim the leaves. Look at 'em as solar panels. The plant cant use any of the nutes you give it without the ability to photosynthesize. If one is blocking light to an area you think should be getting light, then tie it off somewhere other than where it is, but dont remove them.

Using CFLs and trimming the fans is gonna leave you with nothing but belly button lint for buds after drying. I'd LOVE to kick the shit outta whoever started THAT one. I knew a guy once who trimmed his fans, and when I saw the plants at 65 days, I took 'em to my grow room (they didn't look quite right) and put them under 2K of HPS for te last 10 days (I stretched it out!!) I wondered why they looked fucked up until I actually compared them to mine & they (his) had NO FANS. He said he read it on a "forum". Out of 8 plants, he got just under an ounce dry.
Those plants will bulk up QUICK around week 7. I suggest you get some bamboo stakes. With CFLs you may not need em, but they look like several of min3e did at the same point and I had to stake em to keep em off the ground! Ease up on the feeding. Like someone suggested, go with 1/4 tsp per gal and no more than twice a week.
