ATTENTION EVERYONE, mazand is back at ya with another 400 watt grow, im used to posting in my old thread so ill have to remember to start from scratch and be as detailed as possible with my set-up, strains, lights, methods and tips and tricks just in case anyone is interested, and if anyone has any advice, im all ears....
well here goes!
i have a small 2 ft x 3ft x 5.5 ft lowes cabinet ive converted for a grow cabinet, it works wonderful everytime... my lights are a 400 watt HPS from HTGsupply.com, i purchased the 400 watt metal halide conversion bulb so i can veg with a blue spectrum in the HPS ballast. approx 38,000 lumens...the medium i use is fox farms ocean forest and my nutrients are no nutes during veg (maybe a tiny bit of flora nova grow nutrients during late vegetative growth, well see) and for flowering i use flora nova bloom and koolbloom powder additive... my bulb/hood is air cooled with a home made set up using a small "blower" purchased from the local electronics store and a section of 2 inch ducting and a hole on the side of the hood. my intake and exhaust is as follows, my exhaust is 2 small 110 cfm pc fans pulling out the cabinet straight out of a window 1 foot away from the cabinets exterior wall, the intake is also coming from the same window and a small 110 cfm pc fan pulling air IN to the cabinet...heres the catch, its EXTREMELY hot in socal right now so if i pull air directly from the outside it will be wayy too hot, sooo....there is also a window mounted air conditioner in the same window, as of right now since its so hot im actually pulling in COLD air for the intake directly from the air conditioners outgoing air...it keeps my temps at exactly 77 degrees constantly and allows me to keep the light about 8 inches away.
OK so i have a variety of clones and seedlings, i purchased the blue venom and LA cheese clones (la cheese in the back) from the clinic,. the seedling with a plastic bag NOT on top is a feminized super lemon haze, shes about 2 inches tall....the 3 dixie cups on the left with humidity bags over them are all pineapple hindu kush seeds my friend got from his own personal plant, they are not feminized but i saw this plant first hand and believe me, this plant was so fucking bomb it wasnt funny...ill just have to sex them myself later on down the road and weed out the males...
we all know you cant have no fuckin journal without PICS, and ALOT of them so this thread will have many pics throughout...hope you enjoy and maybe stay subbed and well see how we do this time around...
