3 oz a plant doable? 600w hps

I never start training while flower ,waste time or you just have to double scrog ,or mess around tieing buds up ,been doing it like that for years,most plants double in height during first 4 week of Flower sometimes more,so control that with lst with the table

2 - 3 ounces per plant is very doable! Don't stop the N too soon, they're going to grow like mad and stretch for weeks!

You should easy hit 3 oz per plant,My advice is don't do too may plants,under one light.Unless you are going to change up you style of growing say sog.I grow big plants,with topping done right through veg every branch too.All though the picture i have just took off ,of my grow now has not been touched once.Clean those bottoms up ,You want that growth to kick out in the tops.I'm not a massive Fan of tents ,i think there hot boxes unless your using big fans ,and the larger tents.I do grow in a tent but with a Mars Cob ,before that a Mars led i was hitting 5 oz of really nice tops from that and a oz or so of bottoms for oil ,So i will be surprised if you do not hit your weight.But remember less is more,During veg i like my plants not to touch,the reason i only do the one plant in the tent is its only a mtr x mtr x 5 ft so not much room,Im doing two in there for first time,But growing one like a grape vine up the side of the tent ,so the other still has the main light ,i picked the best pheno for that place.I also veg for 8 week if its from seed along side the plants in flower,they end up at 18 inch,before i flip them.From clone 6 week ,But i set clones and seeds going the day of flip,i veg along side for meds every 8 week.Your plants look in good shape,Keep tucking those tops through the first 3/4 weeks of flower but then leave them be,

Yeah tyke good idea training them up the wall and I will only be training for first two weeks of flower I think just to fill the screen abit more then let my bud shoots grow straight up and hopefully get some nice colas... And yes I will be cleaning underneath the screen in these following two weeks. Any thing not hitting the screen I will remove

Iv just gave them there first dosage of bloom nutrients at half strength today beachwalker so hope they do alright and reward me I'm feeding iconic bloom.... I'm hopeing they serve me well come harvest

You will still get big colas ,if you train longer,fill that screen,I use Canna a/b all way through but big bud start week two then start week 5 pk 13/14

That's around 3.4 gr per watt!

Get a lot of seeds for 1 strain....like 76 or more (ask a breeder for a bulk deal. Try the established Dutch group).
Plant goal is 64 plants in Plant warrior, 1 gallon pots. Over plant by 10% (you want to do 72 plants to sort the best and most uniform 64)
You run these to 8 inch's tall and flip them.

You should average around 32 gr a plant - Using a good yielding strain....32x64 = 2048 (yeah, I've done it. Got # restrictions and don't need a cop infestation getting me time. To old to do time.)

Now then. On your issue here.
To get what your looking for. I'll say you need to go for 24 inch tall plants before you flip to bloom to get that 3 zip per. That's depending on the yield average of the strain and the pheno expression of it, your running...Not of course to say the quality of your growing....Make goals but don't get bent if you don't make them.
You have just started.....It's going to take years to get real good.....Try a Hort class at your local Community college! That will help, lots.
READ about growing, and not just cannabis.

I like to say, "Get an African Violet. If you can get that to bloom, you shouldn't have problems growing cannabis."

Ok mate awsome that's what I like to here and yeah iv got some buddas tree pk 9-18 here to use at week 3 til 1 week before harvest then flush using along side iconic bloom

Yeah doctor who. That sounds fantastic would love a yeild like that, unfortunately It would cost me a fortune to buy that many seeds. I just cudnt afford it and wudnt want To go with cutting as I think getting seeds is more safer than gettin cuttings off other people if that makes sense but would love to try the sog method some day... And yes there will be a big difference for say 2 big plants to 64 plants so think I mite try 4 plants next time instead of doing 2.. Will cut my veg time down quite a bit

And yeah all just a learning curve atm for me been reading and lurking these sites for a cuple years now doing my research but only just dicided to put my skills to the test ..and yeah around "8 ounce my goal is or was. Now I'm thinking 6oz then anything over is a bonus for me but would be happy with 6oz.... to be the lowerest I end up with fingers crossed . Just want it to have been worth my while in nice bud haha

i have a 4x7 flower room, was running 2 600s, blew a ballast, so i'm running a 600 and a 400 till i replace the ballast. i can get 6 plants in there in full flower, with medium lst'ing, and easily get three to four ozs per plant. may occasionally get a runt that only gives two, two and a half, but more often it's the opposite, i'll get closer to five than to three. using 7 gallon cloth pots, 75% peat 25% perlite, feeding a mixture of Jack's nutes and calcium nitrate, sul-po-mag, different ratios depending on where they are in the cycle.
i space them out ten days or so, have a pretty good perpetual cycle going, start a seed or clone every time i pull a plant.
so, get your space dialed in, get a little more experience, and it'll come easy

Man even if you get a oz a plant its better than nothing. Obviously it would suck but its something and a learning experience. Things always get better with repetition. Just keep reading and growing and it will fall into place.

Agreed first grow I would expect maybe two oz from each plant and that is if it goes well

now here is some honest info

This is a 10x6 foot canopy with buds 8 to 12 inches tall
