2nd grow since 08 100% cfl organic....

SO i have not grown since 08 but i wanted to give it a go again. i came across a rare FireOG strain and knew i had to grow this.

My grow is 100% cfls grown in COCO. i love Advanced Nutes line so i picked up some iguana juice rigged up my closet. so heres the progress from rooting the clone in a home made cloner all way to week 4 of flower witch is where i am. let me know what you guys think any tips tricks and advice is appreciated if u have questions go ahead n ask ....

FIRE OG being rooted in my ghetto root bottle works like a charm

Fatblunt: it looks great! Have you thought about a more reflective back ground? Something like Mylar? I'm going to be watching closely because my next medical grow is going to be similar. Thanks. HSA

I have used Mylar in the past and I do have it in my closet along with panda paper but u don't see it cuhz allow yhr pics is outside my closet when I'm getting ready to feed but I believe that with cfls u don't need it Lumes r lost so fast that Mylar would not make a difference

ya there was a bit of yellow in the beginning but my phone camera makes everything look a lot lighter then it really is so the yellows look way more yellow they they really are. at the start i ran into couple problems yellowing being one of them i was not expecting the grow this just fell in my lap so i had a couple problems at first one being i never grew in coco before this

thanks bro as you said its alot of work i just spend bout 2 hours fighting off some pm its driving me nuts i keep spot treating and i know it wont make the problem go away but im trying to prolong it as far as i can so i can chop before it comes back. as far as coco i just wanted to try it and see what i can do with it the ph feeding is a lil lower then soil i like it cause once i mix all my goodies with RO water it phs into the perfect area for coco so i dont need to add any ph up down and i hate adding that stuff. im pretty sure coco is organic since its made from coconut fibers. and as far as over watering it is very forgiving. its also pretty cheap and i think reusable up to 3 times even though i will not reuse it just dont want to run any risks over couple bux. and its pretty easy tell when to water when you lift the pot you can tell how light it is. problems ive had with it is PM not sure if its from coco or not but its driving me crzy and fungus gnats ive been battling em for couple weeks now and so far its been 50/50 neither one of us is gana win but i will fight all the way

Nice about the Coco, and I had fungus gnats on my first grow, the way I dealt with them, and never had them to come back was very carefully dig up about 2-3" of soil, and replace it with sand, it will smother the eggs, and stop the grown ones from digging.

Fatblunt: If you keep the degre in the same range and dont let it get to moister and hotyou will keep the fungu problem away! I let my fan go in the bakground and not directlyblowing on the plant/plants and frome time to time i open my window to let new air come into change the air to new and abit chiller ,idont meen wide open just little...The things is its anywqy going to get hot but slowly ,it will push the old air out.Air cirkulation is inportant or els risk for problems!Buy a hygrometer if you dont have one ,realy good!I hope this gave you something good!Good Luck any way! :-)

THANKS 4 THE ADVICE so u think it's better I don't have it on the plant my problem is I did a later during veg and now its kinda bushy on bottom and I think that's causing it .... I find the worst in the shade area with no air or light getting to it ...

The reason your finding it in those areas is because there is no air and light, you may want to do a good trimming, and yes have you fan directly on the plant as long as its not to strong, but what its doing the leafs are sitting on top of each other and basically sweating on the leafs below them, and its sitting there damp bringing on pm, sooo clean the plant with a mild soap solution after trimming get them leafs off of each other, and give them some air.
