1st post, and question

Hey everyone im new to this forum and a bit new to growing "medical" marijuana. i just had a question about black lights, will they work just for the seedling stage? just until i go out and buy and actual light? Thanks.

no black lights arent usefull at all for growing herb. go grab yourself a few 23w cfls and those will hold some seedlings just fine

If 23w you'll need 4-6. Lowes and Home Depot usually have 42w and sometimes 65w. Make sure you are getting 6500k for veg although about 1/3 2700k is good. You'll need much more light as they grow and in flower a shift to mostly 2700k.

for a beginner! get "T5 HO fluroscent"

theyr 45$ but you wont regret them! they will give suficient light to flower under for really low wattage 54w high output

you could still get any other cfl's but the t5's are a hot item,,,
