Hi all

Need a bit of help, I have a cheese plant growing outdoors, and wondered does anyone know when they will start to flower? I've been told natural light will be short enough to kick start them in about September. Is that right?
Cheese takes about 9 weeks to flower and that will take me up to possibly 1st week of November, won't the frost be a threat by then?
At the moment its looking great, but would be gutted if all this comes to nothing!!! Is it possible i could harvest early but would the weed be so bad that it wouldn't be worth it. Would i lose say 50% quality if say very few pistils are brown eg 5%. Or would the quality be worse thatn that?

Cheers and thanx for looking

if ya plant is big enough you could put it in the dark at say 6 pm and get them out at 6am. its bother but the best way i reckon.
most plants finish between end sept"earliest" usually october goin through till november.
it varies.
good luck,

your right about frost its a fucker, the damp is bad too so watch for mould !! bring her in for 12 hrs honest so the sun n weather dont mess her about later on.
our weather is crap for cannabis generally !

No can do stinkyg, the plants are miles away. will just have to chance it. If I do crop them early, eg after the 1st frost. Will the frost have taken hold of the plants already or even if all the pistills are white will i still get a something smokeable off them. Sorry but i have done indoor grows before but this is my 1st outdoor, and have no clue what to expect.

All ideas/views gladly welcome
