Hey guys live in ausstralia. It’s now spring, day time temps are beautiful but night time is way too cold, in past experience seedlings die for the first month in spring due to cold nights.

Last year I started a plant indoor for a month under I think 18-6 lights, grew fine, threw them outside and waste a whole month cause they decided to re veg. I’m thinking should I just germinate and grow them for a month indoors under 12/12? Will that stop any chance of re veg happening? Thanks!!

What do you mean it revegged? Was it in flower? 12/12 is not going to help prevent anything. Are these starts going to be planted into the ground or into containers?

You start indoors under a 25w CFL insert to rapid rooters
leave on a damp dish atop ur Moden for 24h

If you start them under 12/12 for a month they'll definitely flower when you get them outdoors. What is the day length for the time you're going to put them out? Start them under that. For example, I started the plants I put outdoors under 15/9, because that's about the length of the days at the end of May here, when I was able to put them outdoors.
Just out of curiosity, what does an Australian consider cold?
