    The Irish Growers Thread!

I've been busy recently so haven't been on here in a while. I harvested the Blackberry auto a few weeks back. Got a nice yield but fucked up the dry/cure so it's not the best smoke :wall: I got two freebie seeds lately from a breeder I've never heard of. Bruce Banner and Gorilla Glue - both...

Chopped the Blackberry over the weekend. The smell is out of this world, so much so that I had to make some changes to the ventilation as you could smell it from quiet a distance even with the filter and fan running

I was advised not to do that on another site as your camera leaves data on the image that can point your location. Is there something on this site to prevent that?

    They're looking good

I'm looking forward to see if there's much/any difference between this and the COB's. I messed up the plant that's currently under it (Critical 2.0 Auto) so I think a better test will be the two seedlings I just started. I'll move them underneath it once I get time to move everything around.

Nice! What strains you got there?

I'll check those out, it looks like they don't take up too much space so I could always have a separate system for veg/flower

I must look into this. Are you running soil or coco? The blackberry I posted a pic of earlier is my first coco and I'm very impressed, zero issues all the way. I'm trying one more with a different strain in case that was a fluke.

That's handy to know, the Mars 400 wasn't their best light so no harm to put it to better use. Are there plans online for this?

I'm lacking in headroom so I'm not sure if I can sacrafice any more by adding autopots. This is also the reason I do a perpetual grow, I keep smaller plants to the back and move them into the higher area in flower. This also might cause problems as everything is on a different stage of feed...

No I'm keeping them. I also have a pair of Mars Hydro 400 lights for seedlings but some of the leds are failing and they aren't very efficient so I'll be getting rid of those instead

Thanks fishbulb but I have one on order already. I was flicking back through this thread and noticed you use autopots. Would these be a good idea for a perpetual grow? I don't mind hand watering now but it may be a different story when we're allowed go away for a weekend once all this covid...

I usually have the white reflectors off but I couldn't get the camera to focus without them on. I know some people make frames and a nice tidy job of theirs but I just used what I had lying around the shed. I have space issues so they need to be moved regularly. They've been in use for a while...

I'm using DIY led cobs I put together a few years back. I have 4 in total but due to height restrictions the lighs are only 4-6" from the canopy and the plants dont really receive much spread from the other adjacent lights, just the one directly above each plant. For 50w each they can put out...

I need to get a better eye loupe. I bought a shitty ebay one and it's hard to make out what state the trichomes are in. I can't see much change in her over the past 1-2 weeks so I might chop her this weekend. The sweet smell from her is making me impatient lol

Auto Blackberry at day 82 from seed. I'm struggling to decide when best to chop her down. There's no sign of any fade and still some white pistils on lower buds. I wonder should I just go by the trichomes?

I'll still be using the COB's for veg and seedlings. I just want to try something with a bit more power for the final few weeks so one is probably enough. I'll check out fishbulbs recommendations on here. I built my own lights previously on the cheap but I just don't fancy waiting on them or...

After you mentioning the knock off meanwell driver, I checked the one on my cobs and it's also a knock off. Never noticed until now and I have them about 5 years I found this site earlier www.greengate.ie It says they're based in Ireland. Only one light size but I think 240w would be good...

I have a custom attic space so it's a bit of an odd size, sloped roof with little headroom. That's why I'm thinking low profile QB setup. The footprint is probably closest to a 3x3 tent though. Did you get caught for customs on that delivery stoner? The reason I didn't want to go though ali...

Hi All, I've done a grow or two recently using COBS I bought a couple of years back. I see everyone is raving about quantum boards now and I want to try one. Where abouts are ye getting them here? I don't want to go Ali express route
