They do have a slight brown slime to them. I also woke up this morning to a bad smell in the res and foam on top of the water. Normally speaking, I poor all water in first and then add nutes.

Nute burn? Roots are slightly brown (could be AN Piranha I'm using as it doesn't seem to every dissolve in the water) and they are soaking in a nicely aerated 4 gallon res. There was a ppm increase with the res change. I went from 700 to 900 ppm. One other note... I woke up this morning and...
