I just glanced over several of your threads and I didn't see whether or not you stated how high your were flooding your concrete mixing trays. I was thinking that running the water up to about the .25" mark of the 6x6 cube for 1-2 minutes would allow the rockwool to soak up everything it needs...

One last thing Xare, does the inline filter use 3/4" hose threads or 1/2" hose threads? I am going to get an adapter that screws into my pump via 3/4" pipe threads and then converts to either 1/2" or 3/4" hose threads depending on what the filter is.

Thanks for the complement! I think it looks pretty good as well, but I know any amount of stress I cause the plant results in less yield and possible poorer quality...But being my first grow, I am happy with the way it is turning out and I am having a great time learning all of this.

I agree with this method, I get better germ rates with pre-soaked rockwool cubes than a paper towel or any other method, I also find them to be just as fast. The best thing about it is that there is no handling of the sprouted seed and no chance of damage!
