I heard you can use distilled water for compost teas. Also heard that chlorine from tap water kills the "life" in the tea, so here is my question. Can I buy distilled water to make tea and use tap water that was sitting out for a while for my waterings in between or will the tap water destroy...

Yea, well like i said above, my tap water usually sits at 6.8 or 6.9 and u supposed to water with 6.3 so... yea... :(

Is there a decent beginners RO system you can recommend? What did you start off with?

Just measured my tap straight out of brita filter. 321 ppm...

This is only my 3rd grow and I've so far shied away from looking into RO more. Mainly bc it seems costly and my place is not that big...

I checked water ph of runoff today. It's actually pretty low. Around 5.60. Weird since the water that goes in is always around 6.3 or higher. Maybe the ph down gets stronger the longer it sits...? What should I do now? Feed some higher ph water for a while or flush? Cold water: started to used...
