Males don't show their balls all at once. They will have one ball at first then grow the rest.

You need to invest in an inline fan plus a little ducting. I recently won a near new inline fan for $1 on an auction site because my pc fans couldn't replace the air fast enough with 4 cfls which resulted in heat stress and slow growth. My buds would have been effected.

The only reason people do that is for a quick harvest. To save a couple weeks which IMO is very impatient. I'd go with an auto instead seeing as how they'll have more light during veg which means more growth, with the added benefit of a quick change to flowering as opposed to a plant on 12/12...
