No mint. Probably a good thing. Coffee is around, but not out front. Little bit of a chocolate egg cream thing going on. Meh.

Aside from hunting the perfect hazy IPA for @Dr.Amber Trichome … my new passion is the perfect under $20 GSM. This was 19.99 70/20/10 Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre. Has that distinctive Rhône barrel taste. Have some more research to do …

Samuel Robert is local to me but I’m not a fan. Drinkable. Attractive price point. But not a good Pinot. Disclaimer: I’m a Pinot snob.

It’s June 11. This is my first trip to the farmers market this year. The fava beans were waterlogged. Had to pass. Tomatoes were colorful, but still early. I opted for some morels, Swiss chard, baby zucchini, spring asparagus and pea shoots. I might have to just give in and make some fresh pasta.

What would you like to see from a seedbank?

It’s 2022. Anybody can navigate a site, Google a strain. Seeds cost a premium. Product is what counts. It’s 49/51 out there IME.

What would you like to see from a seedbank?

I’d like to see more reputable breeders. Like real breeders. Guys (gals) who put the time in. Anybody can chuck pollen. Hell I do. But if I’m paying $100 for ten beans I want consistency. Not luck.

Classic IPA style. Nice hoppy aroma and taste. Piney. Grapefruit. I’d drink it again.

Why are my plants so compact?

I’m not saying it’s bro science. I’m saying more red ain’t changing that particular plants compact growth.

Why are my plants so compact?

Disagree. There’s enough of everything in a full spectrum. Red ain’t making that plant stretch. And again, nothing wrong with the plants. :peace:
