    I'm with you. Smoked trout sounds a lot better. Spent some time in Denmark and could never develop a taste for herring, raw or pickled. And I love raw fish.

    If the mold is isolated, and you know what you’re looking for, you’re good. I’ve had a moldy top here and there. It happens. And it doesn’t spread as wildly as you think. If it finds a happy home it usually stays there. You have to know what you’re looking for though. Hard to tell from those...

    Got a mess of eggs from our barn friends. Yukon gold, asparagus, chicken sausage, provolone, Romano. Lots of XV olive oil. Some chiles. Couple cloves garlic.

    This is an excellent beer. It drinks like a hazy. Pillowy mouthfeel. Smooth. But it’s clear as a bell. I’d have another for sure.

    I had a Stone IPA today. Tastes like half the IPAs I’ve brewed. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but the style is starting to feel stale. Hops are so popular that the malt is in the trunk, not even the back seat.
