rain doesn't matter when they're vegging, it's actually a good thing to get the roots nice and developed early so less watering is required later on.

Organic is the best for outdoor growing imo. Using basic 'big box' nutrients in hydro set ups wouldn't get the highest achievable results but'd still work alright. So envious of your backyard or non guerilla grows, my dream one day.
