Yep, if you stay on top of your pot size so you're not watering so often, and only use the soil for mature vegging plants (not seedlings) you can easily grow a healthy plant with MG. It's an ok potting mix if that's all that's available, but there is a lot better out there.

You're doing everything wrong. They're both stunted. That soil is way too heavy which means the roots aren't getting enough oxygen, and poor drainage. You're probably watering the whole pot. Seedlings have food in their cots already so you don't feed them jack shit. Their leaves are on the...
