This would depend on the light. I have 2, 200 watt lights in a 4x4 and they can provide more light than the plants like. I can get 50 DLI with a 12-12 light schedule and 30 inch height over canopy running at 90 to 95 percent.

Did you weigh the plant wet? If the plants not too huge I like to weigh it on a fish scale while wet, and when it loses 2/3 of it's weight, I know it's dry enough to jar.

Don't hate me man but I think your fucked, you've been given ffof Cal mag and tap water. I think your so calcium loaded there isn't much ion exchange room left on the medium. Could maybe try up putting but you maybe should just take clones from these plants, if you can, and start over.
