They're overfed. You need to water less with the soil you are using so they aren't fed too much. I see you can't really flush, i can't either with my soil which has organic fertilizers mixed in, not slow release caps. If you're needing to water everyday to stop it from drying out and wilting...

These are old calyxes. The pistils were probably immediately burnt off due to overfeeding evident in your leaves. Rip them off if you want, they're hollow. These are dead stipules (part of the leaf) which also get burnt off easily from overfeeding:

I don't over-think these things. I cut all leaves at once to avoid slaving over the buds all day with shrivveld leaves (remember to leave a little cause they shrink) I the box in a cold enough space so that it takes about a week to get dry enough for cure. You don't let it get warm and dry fast...
