    Lighting for a 32"x32"x48"

Comparatively speaking, it's much less than it used to be. Of course you can always spend less and upgrade later but why buy twice? Unless you have to of course. When I started growing, lots of people told me to buy right the first time and I didn't listen. My box ended up costing twice what it...

    Lighting for a 32"x32"x48"

Cob setups are so cheap I'd go with that. Timber grow lights are really high quality and priced well. That's the route I'm taking. @Olive Drab Green is killing it with just 241w of cobs. I'm going 200w in a 2x2x4 scrog. Should easily pull 4 or so oz out of 2 plants. I'm like you... Low needs...

    LED/DWC/SCROG mini fridge grow advice

So a couple of points: 1) yes, cannabis will grow toward your light. Always. 2) as an option, you could mount the fan on the back of your cabinet with the filter inside to save space. This could not be an option if you're trying to run stealth. I've seen many grows in small spaces. It'll be great!

    Lighting for a 32"x32"x48"

I started with a 250w HID in the same space you're in and produced 6oz... Next grow I upped that too 400w and got more then learned how to train and grew 12.5oz of flower. I'm backing off to 200w of cob's and hope to get back to 4 to 6oz. Added a fan filter combo and that took care of the heat...

    Smallest Inline Fan

I've been doing a little more research and found this one through Home Depot of all places.. http://vents-us.com/item/5117/TT_PRO_100/#parameters It's essentially the same as an S&P, except with more options. I've had an email exchange with them too and same story as the S&P as far as speed...

    Smallest Inline Fan

I just had an email exchange with a tech from S&P. He said the best way to control the speed of these or any fan of similar design is to use this speed controller: https://www.amazon.com/Fantech-WC-15-Control-Switch/dp/B000X4PMRY "..5 amp, solid state controller.." Now the trick, for the...

    Smallest Inline Fan

I found this...very enlightening. https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/buying-the-correct-fan-speed-controller.60640/ I've emailed S&P to inquire about whether or not you can just wire up to the high speed then plug it into this transformer...

    Smallest Inline Fan

Looks like the best way to control the speed is to use the fan as it's designed..with romex wiring and a 3 position rocker switch... That said, I don't know if this is possible with the 100 or 100x.

    Smallest Inline Fan

It seems Soler & Palau make fans with different types of motors within their line. I'm going to call them and find out which variac controller, that is what is needed with the td100 and 100x, they recommend or sell. Either that or just wire it to the low fan speed screw but that seems restrictive.

    Smallest Inline Fan

S&p makes their own s speed controller for their fans... It looks like this https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=Soler+&+palau+fan+speed+controller&rh=i:aps,k:Soler+&+palau+fan+speed+controller The brochure does say the td100 & 100x are "suitable for...

Really?? That sucks. I wonder if the Titan Mercury 4 will work? It's an electronic controller.

    Smallest Inline Fan

Well I just discovered that it's a 5" and not a 4". It would cost me more to make it work with my filter and build than the 100x. Darn it.

    Smallest Inline Fan

I just bought the td125 on Amazon for $80. It's shorter with slightly more rpm than the 100x at 197 cfm that I can dial back. Should be perfect if not overkill. Lol

    Smallest Inline Fan

Yup, I found that too. My current fan takes up 11" of vertical space, weighs what feels like 10lbs at least and although isn't loud because i don't need it on full blast, I'm sure it's louder than the 100x. I didn't see the difference in RPM between the 100 and 100x which totally makes a noise...

    Smallest Inline Fan

That's awesome! Thank you for the reply. I'm leaning toward this fan so it really helps. Is it easy to hook up the cord and plug? Do you have it on a speed controller?
