White plastic vs polished aluminum refraction (cob reflectors)

White surfaces do a surprisingly good job of reflecting light. If you're worried about the amount of light you're losing due to reflector coating then you better have a few cups on your shelf...

    Cola's big citi lights

Okay man, here goes. Those chips will run about 33.9 volts each at 700ma at Tc 25C according to the Citi selection tool. So, 10 of those in series will be about 339 volts (this will drop a bit as Tc increases). At 700ma that's almost 24w each for 237w total (115ish PAR watts). Not too shabby...

White widow x big bud. Coco and scrog. Regular updates

Nice man. Yeah, give it a go when you can. All you have to do is enter the electrical info in the white sections and it will spit out a bunch of numbers and tell you how much heatsink you'll need. I'm still tweaking it, let me know if you have any suggestions.

    Citi Powered Armoire Conversion

SCROG FTW! I could have trained her better in veg, it's been hell trying to get everything in the right place. I could have filled out the net a bit more even, I figure it's a good idea to leave some room for airflow though. On the plus side... :weed:

Cob or quantum board for next diy?

Depending on what hood you have, you could build a COB or QB fixture to fit into what you have hanging already. Bonus points if you're already venting the hood, free active cooling for the new setup.

I feel like it's a decent mix, we'll see what the yield looks like. No actual "blues" though, the monos that look blue are actually UVA. Those 5000k COBs do have a lot of blue goin on though.... The monos are stuck on with Berquist thermal pads; think paper thin double-sided tape. They work...

    Hinge ideas?

Get some of those double-jointed cabinet hinges, like these: You might have to get creative with the mount, but it should allow the door to swing open and still overlap when closed.
