I could realy use advice on led plz

How does my statement have you at a loss? You said originally "What is incomprehensible is wasting valuable time building a light to save a few bucks. Maybe Your is worthless, mine is not." I replied to tell you that my light isn't worthless, performs better and is cheaper to make than the...

I could realy use advice on led plz

I can assure you that the light I built is £ for £ (or $ for $) is better than 90% of the lights available on eBay/amazon. And how can make any assumption about the quality and/or capability of it without knowing anything about it? I didn't realise you are a psychic as well as a cannabis expert.

I could realy use advice on led plz

This has actually hurt my head trying to read these incomprehensible posts. But if anyone is interested I'd recommend buying LED quantum boards, strips or cobs fixtures. Even better to DIY build the whole thing yourself and save some money! There are plenty of videos and tutorials available on...

Shootin fer mids (if I’m lucky!)

Yeh, the Dank Sinatra/Zappa are two I wish I could get a hold of, I might have to start asking around this forum to see if anyone has any f2's they'd be willing to part with. I'm intrigued by the Mango Hashplant release I've just seen from Bodhi, as I'm getting a bit tired of the citrus strains...

I'm still slightly confused as to how the switches work, or rather how I know what mode they're in without having a way to measure. All of my driver's switches are in this position, so I'm assuming that will be the '26w' mode? (I realise it's difficult to see in the picture, but both switches...

Shootin fer mids (if I’m lucky!)

Good to see another grow from you, plants are looking great as usual! I'm a couple weeks into veg with my first Bodhi strain Soulmate at the moment, really looking forward to making some f2's with these. I'm looking to get my hands on some of his 88g13hp crosses soon, of the ones you've grown...

Pre registration for the greatest party cup grow off of 2018

I've already posted up my seeds in the cups. I'll be uploading a pic next day or two to show them above ground and stretching! Haha. Curious if it will be ok to nominate my final plant sooner than the 2nd week of flower? As in, much sooner, like next week maybe? Reason being, I have more space...

@nfhiggs @Hairiest_Stamen thanks for the advice, just seems to easy to replace a £110 light (Meizhi) with £40 worth of these TCI strips. I'm not doubting the numbers, but I'll have to stick with this set up until I can get 5 more strips.

I didn't realise we had to post pics of the seeds, apologies. I soaked them overnight, then into a paper towel for a day. All 5 cracked and I've just finished planting in cups. I'm going with an all fem seeds line up like this. HSO Blueberry Headband Dinafem Original Amnesia & Purple Orange...

So are the diodes in these TCI strips that much more efficient? Because the Meizhi is drawing more than x2.5 the wattage of 4 strips. (I know the Meizhi is just a cheapo light, but 2.5 times less efficient seems a bit of a stretch.) I'd love to be able to replace it with just 4 of these TCI's!

Soaking mine in shot glasses today. I'm going to be going for a 'freebies run' using up all my single seeds.. As far as I'm aware, all lights are accepted now, so join us!

Yeh, I used a thermal adhesive to stick them on. If for some reason it fails to do the job, I'll screw them down like I did on my previous 'build'. I don't have any spare TCI strips at the moment, and I like having the ability to raise/lower and switch on the two lights individually However, as...

What's the lowest watt light you have used in a Setup and how much did you yield

Give it time. If the seed casing is still attached after its popped through the surface of the soil, then you could try to carefully remove the casing.. But best bet is to be patient.

This will be my veg and flower light. I'm using the Meizhi while they are still small and once they get large enough I'll switch on my DIY frame as well. Let them veg for a couple more weeks then. Flip to flower.

Apologies, I'll have to wait until the weekend to take the pics (my phone is broken). The aluminium angle bar is basically just L shaped and measures approx 49mmx49mm cut into lengths of 950mm. The aluminium is approx 3mm in thickness. (Which I find to be sufficient for cooling, warm to the...

I've just finished building a frame/heatsink for my TCI strips, 12 in total. I used regular aluminium angle bar. Works great as an effective heatsink and structural frame. I'll take some pics today and upload later on/ tomorrow with specs.

    Anything strawberry........

I ran a couple of Strawberry Diesel by Holy smoke seeds last grow, and it was amazing! Quite a high yield and fantastic smoke, so good I popped another 2 in my current grow. Definitely something I'll be getting more off and then pheno hunting.
