    Cob and QB setup layout?

You missed the ENTIRE point. I'm not saying people shouldn't try either. NOWHERE did I say that :) Experiment away, try every type of light on the market, fill your boots.. What I did actually say, is that these 2 specific implementations of phosphor technology don't mix well. They run best...

    Cob and QB setup layout?

Not trying to be argumentative here, but you haven't actually given any good reasons for mixing them. If the spectrum you want is only avail in cob, then why use qb at all? I'm not saying qb is bad, I'm just saying that people should choose one or the other. And I've not seen anyone yet on...

    looking for some input.

If it were me, I'd introduce it gradually. I'd start with an hour or so the first day, at pretty high up over the plants, then over the course of a week increase that exposure and gradually move the light down. At the end of 7-10 days I'd have it under the new light for the full 12 hours. Of...

    Cob and QB setup layout?

I do not understand why people think mixing cobs and quantum boards makes any kind of sense. One of the pluses of qb's is that the light is very diffuse and you can run very close to your plants without harm... but if you have cobs you need to run them a bit further away to get good light...

    COB Led Advice Please

They are poo. You'd be better off buying a bunch of led bulbs and removing the diffusers.

    Led Panel: Is it ok?

What do you mean by this? In your own country, city...at your local hydro shop? Where are you...roughly? What area are you looking to light? Also I thought you said you already bought a "300w" Viperspectra (which pulls less than 130w at the wall, and due to inefficient drivers and leds...

    650w of cobs in a 4x4 tent - a grow log

Would never say that... I was just arguing a point that had nothing to do with TGA. Having said that, a lot of his genetics aren't stabilized, which allows for pheno hunting and the opportunity to find something outstanding and a bit rare. But this also means that some phenos WILL be shitty...

    650w of cobs in a 4x4 tent - a grow log

Got to agree with this. If you're growing shitty genetics, you might not know whether its a problem with something you're doing or if its just shitty genetics. If you have some good gear, at least you know what its capable of, and you can dial things in as you gain experience. Good genetics...

    Led grow room temperature

There's a real mix. Its really just down to your own environment. Attached to the fixture is easiest (and slightly more electrically efficient), but if temps are a concern, then remote would be a good idea.

Need to work during dark cycle, what light?

I remember reading somewhere that filters and party bulbs were a bad idea and that they were putting out a lot more than just green light, and that the only safe way to get real green light was with a green led. I never use any color light during the dark period, since I know that the plants...

Quick and Dirty Citizen 1212 build

Yeah its not for cooling that I'm going to flip all mine, its the air circulation that I'm after. These cpu fans actually tend to cool slightly better by pushing air (which is why they all are designed the same way), but I sure don't want 20 of them blowing all that hot air directly onto the...

Actually the fan spins freely upside down, and if you take out the springs the 4 attachment bolts are long enough to reattach the fan...just need to find some nuts for it.

Quick and Dirty Citizen 1212 build

Hmmm.. never thought about that. I've got a case of these same fans waiting for Cobby to get more cxm22's in stock. I wonder if the fans can be flipped over (reversing the fans would work against the blade design). Time for a little experimentation.
