I wouldnt recommend using cfls to flower .not saying it cannot be done just that it usually has not so great results.....ocean forrest is a good organic medium but it is alil bit hot . U can mix it with fox farms happy frog. And u can use fox farms nutes .you just have to keep your ph in check...

I keep a MH in between my two HPS lamps i cant notice a difference to be honest

Roughly two to three feet for one 1k light i think its suggested to keep the lights 18-24 inches away from the lamps so i would just raise them up a bit..no need to crank the lights down on em theres planty of light for em to enjoy :)

they look pretty good and healthy. maybe veg a bit longer to get em a bit bigger, before you switch to 12/12 if you have the room for it. good job man! also a 1000 w light has a 5x5 footprint 2k in a 6x4 room might be a bit much.
