Pretty much stretch is controled on strain and your lights... A dominate sativa is gonna stretch like a bitch... However poor light is gonna make any plant stretch like a bitch. I use liquid kelp for lush green growth. His plants were looking a little yellow.

Dont do the HPS.... I'm telling you go with the LED.....Belive me, I used to grow with HPS.. I hated the heat and wasted light meaning cutting into my $$$. LED is where things are going.

I have 2 Sunshine systems GlowPanel 45's LED's are the shit! I love em. Thats what you need for your plants, just get the GlowPanel. its only 14w but will blow your cfl away, and its only $50.00 its a good starter light.

3 weeks seedling. I transplanted almost 2 weeks ago thats when I called veg, tomorrow will be 2 weeks. so total seedling 3 weeks, total veg almost 2 weeks, so 5 weeks. I know how to do this, really... LoL...:dunce:

LoL...Its easy to show your girls TOO much love. LoL.. In the future water your seedlings with a spray bottle. keep em on a heat mat and under a clear dome... looks like your girls suffer from poor roots possibly rot. This pic is if one of my girls the same age as the other her root ball never...

I mis-spoke, these plant are 3 days shy of 5 weeks. they are in the 2nd week of veg.

I use liquid kelp 1 tsp per gallon during seedling stage. and this mixture is diluted down even more 10% mixture to 90% water. After 2 weeks seedling stage I'll give them big bloom 1 tsp per gallon. once again diluted 10%-90%. Keep in mind this is done only once during this period, not every...

You plant in smaller containers to develop a good root ball. Once the root system is established the transplant in the final pot. Also I found I get better growth during seedling stage planting directly in dirt, rather than paper towel. I belive this is because transplanting from towel to dirt...

I think your missing the obvious. This could be very useful if you want a variety of mother strains but have limited space in your mother room. Right now I have Alaskan Ice and the Church growing. I only have room enough for 1 mother plant. It would be cool if I could graft the church to the ice...
