That’s the look you’re looking for! Great job! Those are some beautiful plants! Goes to show how great of a soil ocean forest is if used correctly!

    2nd grow need help.

I know I’m a little late to the party but imo it looks like the light intensity is a little much along with lower humidity and high nitrogen from the ocean forest. When the light is strong and humidity is low the demand for water is high, along with anything else that’s in that water. Soo to me...

    VPD and plants response.

Can we also take a look at how far technology has came with these lights…. Back when I was growing no one in their minds would flower under leds. Now you can keep them 30 inches away and still have adequate lighting.. only thing led was good for was veg, mothers and popcorn buds..

I would never haha! He was talking about his VPD of 3.3. That’s a lot of water uptake, and anything else in that water.

I was actually shooting for the 80 at 55% but they really didn’t seem to like it. And the leaf temp was Super low. I also found this article.

I appreciate everyone’s input and struggles and work around for it. Makes me feel better. I’ll keep an eye on it and the plants and keep them happy. I could definitely imagine how easy burning could be with 3.3.. you’d have to cut your nutes in a 1/3?

    VPD and plants response.

I also thought a measurement issue but every leaf is with in a point or two. And when I get those low measurements the leaves just don’t look at healthy. I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing and not chase a number, read the plant and keep moving. But If anyone else has experienced this...

    VPD and plants response.

I’m not going to worry about chasing it either, everything seems good but its weird that the leaf temperature drops that much.. when my humidity is up near 70% it’s only a couple degrees different.

    VPD and plants response.

Has anyone else tried to dial in their leaf VPD and notice their plants just won’t allow it? over the past couple days I’ve noticed the more I inch my humidity down the lower the leaf temperature becomes. I understand why this occurs, but it also pushes me further away from proper levels...

    Small plant with little crystals

If it’s a different soil, I’d probably say it’s that. If all else in the same like pot size and lighting.

    Nitrogen suppliments

I would also like to ask... what the hell are you using 15 ml for 3 gallons?? it says right on the bottle 1/2 tea spoon per gallon.. your using six times that? I also read you said soil. you need to flush and lay off everything for awhile and keep her in ICU.

    Nitrogen suppliments

dyna gro is crazy stuff but do not use bloom 100% you need to use grow most of the way through and then do a 50/50 for the last few weeks ( roughly find what works for you) bloom does not have enough N i have seen many people use grow 100% through flower and have crazy results. think of bloom as...

New seedlings dying after sprout, what am I doing wrong?

Don't water for while. Move lights closer and no nutes. Give it three days or so, seedlings spend more energy growing roots to support more leaves so in time she will grow best thing you can do is keep an appropriate temp and good lighting, no more superthrive either it can cause huge problems.
