Honestly i haven't had any issues from the bulkheads i bought. With the flex pipe and those bulkheads seems to be a match made in heaven. I have taken my system apart 3 or 4 times before i ever got it in my tent and no leaks as of yet and yes i bump them and move them around.

Personally i do a fan just to keep the air moving. I watched an old remo vid about it years ago and can vouch that if theres no air movement it does get that hay smell at least in my experience anyways.

Go bigger on the water pump i have a similar set up almost identical and i will be going up in water pump size next round also try to go with a magnetic drive pump. You will also want some kind of way to access your your totes so cut some kind of access hole or you will play hell on water...
