Just as an aside, I was not trying to relate this article to myself personally, but rather presented it as evidence of the deterioration of the Dems voter base. I think trying to categorize independents in any particularly political group or lean is a sure bet at inaccuracy. We’re all over the...
FWIW, there is an article in today’s NYT, unfortunately “subscriber only newsletter”, but the headline is “Share of Democratic Registrations is Declining: What does it mean?”. The article explores without any certain conclusions (as there are none to be reached) regarding the fact the dem...
Not full time. Side gig. I do write some (and so does another guy in the band), but we’re mainly a cover band, though with our own twist on things for sure. We’re low key. Just for fun. Used to be my weed money, but growing has happily made that unnecessary. Now my wife just takes the cash.
I’m a guitar player and singer. Current band doesn’t use a drummer much of the time.
Edit to add: I’ve definitely encountered lots of forms of weirdness in my time playing in bands. That’s part of the appeal!
I appreciate your optimism. I want to be but am not impressed with the Dems. I like Biden but can’t deny the effects of age - regardless, with the two choices presented, he is an easy check in the voting room.
Still, I think the Dems have lost their way, and this is reflected in their...
Very true, though I’d also argue that both parties feature their share of “brainwashed” folk. A two party system encourages it. Belong to one party long enough and you become trained to hate the other party, apparently, and mostly incapable of considering ideas that come from a side other than...
The OP asks about the “foreign nations that are brainwashing us”. I would say simply that most of the “brainwashing” Americans suffer from is created domestically.
They just improved the weather prediction to 12” or more of snow. It’s needed. March around these parts is much more entertaining with snow. April too. Spring starts in May and lasts about two and half weeks, lol.
Final chop, day 90, Creme de la Chem number two. This is the most successful plant of the four this grow. She was a late bloomer, so I sort of neglected her which proved to be a benefit - furthest from the light and the heat. Trying hard to learn that lesson, lol. Like the other CDLC, it’s short...
Morning y’all. Crazy week and psyched to chill this weekend. Here’s my morning chore before work, the last of my current grow. Short, stocky. Medium producer, but stinky and dense. Creme de la Chem, Mephisto. Day 90, after the final trim.
Took the White Widow down this morning, day 89ish. Plenty of Amber trichs and too many damaged leaves. This one was much better off than the GC, further affirmation that moving it away from the heat and lowering the light intensity helped stabilize things after the damage had been done. The...
