I wrapped a rubber band around the plastic to make it more air tight. I'll let it sit over night and trust this more than the Vivosun meters.

Mine is hanging right at 70%. Which is weird, because I should have to adjust about 5% in the other direction according to all the cheap Vivosun meters. I'm guessing container volume, salt weight and water weight matter for this to an extent.

I drilled a 5/32" hole in a small plastic spice bottle I had which matches the probe diameter. Put some salt and water in it and wrapped the top in plastic, we'll see what happens.

I have a lot of those cheap Vivosun monitors and each of them reads within a couple % RH of each other; temps are also within a degree C. But the AC Infinity probe was reading +6 higher, though temp was good. It isn't a very accurate setup since the lowest common denominator is VIvosun.

My controller 67 humidity was way off. I had to offset it by -6% but otherwise, it works well.

If you use the pH meter daily, then you don't really need to store it in a solution. But if you stored it long term dry, then the ions in the glass probe have leeched out and it's finished. The solution prevents them from leeching out.

I prefer dry trimming myself. How long did you dry for and what temperature, relative humidity?

It's mainly the chlorophyll breaking down causing the hay smell -- same as after you cut grass. The more leaf matter, the more chlorophyll, the more smell. It's normal to smell it while drying the flower but it should go away by cure time. If not, then maybe the harvest was too early or the...
