how much from a bag of o.f

The soil, or the nutes line? I had great results using a bottom 30% FFOF Mix.

Exactly. You can't introduce totally unmeasurable variables in unless you've eliminated most, if not all, others.

    Happy frog fert

My mentor has been on a level like that. Plans his outdoor runs around lunar cycles. They are super hippy, which is why I trust their ingredient sourcing. All granular, in a Ball jar, no frills label. Cost $200 for the complete line that will last me at least 6 months.

If you're looking for a good organic nutrient line, take a look at Dragonfly Earth Medicine. I've been really impressed with how my plants are responding, and the ingredient list and where it's sourced seems pretty legit.

    HB's 3rd run! Headband/WiFi OG - Organic/LED

So, while this is only my third run in a room that I operate myself, I've had my hands in gardens for a few years. Initially, I was around synthetic growers. It didn't seem too difficult, but a few things really turned me off to it. I didn't like the thought of dumping so much soil, trying to...

    I've had no problems.

How many CXA2530 can I run per 1.05mA driver?

This is probably the way I should go. I can split the chips in half and run a two stage, turn one set off while the light is low on smaller plants, and turn the other ones on (Probably use the B for a dimmer?) as they get bigger and require more footprint. There was another post suggesting...

How many CXA2530 can I run per 1.05mA driver?

That's kinda what I was thinking... I want to use as few drivers as possible, as they're the most expensive parts in this build. I'd rather not have to dump 240 into drivers. Not trying to have a $500 veg light, ya know? I figure at 8 a chip, + 4$ for this heatsink/fan combo from a local bulk...

How many CXA2530 can I run per 1.05mA driver?

Alright... So, @ 0.5mA I could run 10 each... There's not an issue with running 9 and having left over amperage, is there?

How many CXA2530 can I run per 1.05mA driver?

Title says it all. Trying to build a veg light to saturate my 4x8 tent. Figured I'd get pretty solid coverage with 24 chips, 6x4. Maybe I could get away with 18 only going 6x3. Either way, I was just going to run the 2530s for this, and couldn't dredge up any info on how many I could run on a...

    HB's 3rd run! Headband/WiFi OG - Organic/LED

From what I'm hearing, the cost difference is worth the investment. It's not recommended for organics, because of any tea run off chilling in the res, but that's why I added the airstone. My associate just finished up a run with Octopots and these modified pots (sans air stone) and he was blown...

    HB's 3rd run! Headband/WiFi OG - Organic/LED

So, I cut a hole in the bottom of the fabric pot, put a net pot in there, and packed it with soil. The pot sits on the makeshift table, and a flexible air stone is wrapped around the base of the cup. I fill the saucer with water, and it acts as a wick. The pot never soaks in water, just draws...

The front (in first pic, right in second) are the WiFi and the others are HB. The two yellowish ones are also WiFi.

    HB's 3rd run! Headband/WiFi OG - Organic/LED

Hey guys - Finishing up some modifications in the flower room, but this is what I have ready to toss into flower! Doing less plants this run, due to a complication with the clones I was set to get. I may toss these other two in 10s and just include them as well though. I have 2 Headband and 2...

    Enough light???

Of course you wouldn't grow vert with LED. That's silly. The point of going Vert is to take advantage of the 360deg light from a bulb. But you can build an LED array that will outperform it's HPS counterpart. It will have the same photon density, a better spectrum (2000K creates a lot of wasted...

    Enough light???

You're ignoring efficiency. An HPS bulb, brand new, is about 35% efficient. So, for each watt, 65% is dissipated in heat, the rest in light. An LED array that is 60% efficient is going to produce 60% usable light, and dissipate 40% to heat per watt. So, you're getting less heat per watt due to...

    Ozone in the grow room?

Bad in large concentrations, so make sure you're dumping it somewhere with flow.
