Minimum Specs for CPU Heatsink/Fan on COB?

I need to be able to veg everything I move into my flower room, which is 8x10, evenly and effectively. The goal capacity is 8 plants in octopots. The footprint on that is comparable to a 10G pot. I was only able to fit 6 under the T5. Not only that, but one of my bulb sockets in the T5 went out...

Minimum Specs for CPU Heatsink/Fan on COB?

I'd have no problem using passive if I was sure they'd hold up. I just can't find a driver that suit my needs well without running up my budget terribly. That 240 is the only thing I can use 2 of to run the entire 18 chip array. It's not ideal, that's for sure. I'm open to a redesign, but I...

Minimum Specs for CPU Heatsink/Fan on COB?

Yeah, I'm only going to drive these 2530s with a HLG-240C-700, so they won't be driven too hard. @nevergoodenuf Those all look passive. So, at 700mA, I shouldn't have to dissipate more than 35W of heat? Could possibly get away with a pin-style passive?

How many CXA2530 can I run per 1.05mA driver?

Final price came back at market rate, 58 per driver. Just used onlinecomponents instead.

Minimum Specs for CPU Heatsink/Fan on COB?

Trying to figure out the best combination of efficiency and price on a heatsink/fan for a 18 chip light. I suppose at that point, nothing is really economical. It may even be best to go passive with that many chips, but I'm concerned about the weight of 3 passive heat sinks in my PVC tent...

How many CXA2530 can I run per 1.05mA driver?

I'll wait while you retrieve another stocked source of most of these parts for the same prices. I understand the concern of counterfeit as well. I'm actually hesitant on those for that reason (too good to be true, but at a 5 minimum, maybe?) I don't know, is there a market for knockoff meanwell...

Came in to say try FF Ocean Forest, use 30% in the bottom of the final pot and use happy frog to fill. Good advice in here.

    Just switched to flower

Now, if you're really wanting to get next level with the moon calendar, you'll see benefit from that on your outdoor plants. Plant and harvest at certain points. But cutting clones, not needed.

    Just switched to flower

What he said. In my experience, take cuts from the lowest branches closest to the main stems, as they're going to have the highest concentration of the rooting hormone still. I have a 80%+ success rate using the method evergreen posted. Mix in a little powdered aloe and coconut water into the...

    Im pretty baked, but

How you think you can get even light coverage, spectrum and distribution with those is beyond me. How you even thought this was a feasible way to grow herb astounds me.

    HB's 3rd run! Headband/WiFi OG - Organic/LED

About to flip. Apparently these both stretch A LOT, so while I'd like to have a bigger canopy, I'm only really concerned about the back right plant. She's just not taking off how I'd like. Lush, green and healthy, yes. But size concerns me. Yield on this run might not be up to par, but I think a...
