Plant is fine. Do not feed these animals as they say in the zoo. I only use dual spec now, less stretch. Match ballast with bulbs and do not use cheap ass bulbs.

I prefer HPS, not saying it is the best. All depends on the environment you grow in.

Cheap LEDs worthless. COB great for veg. I prefer HPS for flowering.

400 is bout right for 4 plants depending on veg time. 600 even better if you can keep temps down. Digital ballasts are the job and adjust as needed. Price per oz depends on the grower, hydro, soil, location, season and equipment used., anything from 10 to 120 p oz.

never let light on roots only leaves need light. You dont need much light for the first week.

Go into a grow shop cash in hand. Instant gratification. Liking the red scorpion fan and filter. The filters are great value if you want a smaller lighter filter.

Go for a larger fan and use a speed control so the fan runs slow and silent. Strange wet stuff falling from the sky ????

First grow go for organic fertilizer. No worries about salt buildup and hard to overfeed. Plagron algea for now algea bloom for in flower. Just follow the directions. With that combo your soil ph etc is all perfect all you need to know is what is your water is like.

Dont even bother with the woodies soil as that will give you extra difficulties. Go ta any grow shop and get any brand lightmix soil. put seeds in small pot and cover with plastic bag or mini propagator. Soak/flush the soil before putting in the seeds. Have low expectations for your first grow...

Rockwool is for cuttings. I have 99% success with seeds straight into soil.
