    Strip Build Advice

Lol, now I'm confused. So is it fine or maybe there's a better option with the driver set up? Will I get better efficiency of I change something about the set up? I was planning to build it as two separate units for more flexibility with the light down the road.

    Strip Build Advice

It appears he was unsatisfied but doesn't nail down the strips as the problem. Not sure if you were steering me away or showing me that those strips will work. Another member here hooked me up with a plan that seems to suit me well. 14 x...

Roleadro Panel Grow Light Series,45W LED Plant Grow Light for growing

I vote to add two 14 watt household led bulbs on both sides. Two power strips, four plug in bulb sockets and a four pack of bulbs and you have 80 real watts. You may even get a couple oz of bud. Since you have the purple I'd add some 5-6k bulbs.

I have seen SMD 5730 mentioned.... Would these get that kind of efficiency with the right driver set up? https://www.ebay.com/itm/232353772864

    Strip Build Advice

A little help would be much appreciated. I'm wanting to build a strip light set up for a 5' x 2.25' x 7 closet. I have a couple hundred to spend on parts. While I don't need the cream of the crop I would like to accomplish decent efficiency. Upwards of 150/LM/W. I'd like to spend the money on...

cheapest led option?.. may not be the best ,but youll get buds.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/110v-220v-LED-Floodlight-20-30-50W-Cool-Warm-White-COB-Chip-Smart-IC-Driver-Lamp/252916658024?var=551930516462&hash=item3ae301ef68:g:X7cAAOSwnONZCUHX I'm thinking these might even be cheaper than screw in bulbs. No driver needed. A couple of dollar store cookie sheets...

    Screw in grow

Agreed, I have had high temps in the past cause hermies. This time around I have no clue what caused it. No light leaks and temps consistently in the 68-75 degree range. I suspect it's just poor stability in the genetics. Though I have read that pruning in flower can cause it and I did do some...

    Newbie needing advice

I should mention that the grower attempted to stay with it and just had a repeat of same problems next round. I talked him into building a new soil mix and going with straight water after that and he is over the moon with his results. From yield to taste and vigor, it improved his results...

    Newbie needing advice

Not a fan of FF Grow big at all. While I haven't ran a whole grow using it myself I have seen it in action. When trying to sort through a fellow growers issues I picked up a bottle of almost empty FFGB and it had close to an inch of salts solidified in the bottom. This prompted me to start...

Yield maximisation outdoor. Best technuiques in you opinion?

Long veg time and large transplants will go a long way towards yield IMO. I started my seeds a week ago to transplant first week of June. I plan to cull out quite a few in search of the best looking phenotypes so have started many more than I need.

    Super sad watering

I would remove from pot and let it stand with no pot for awhile with a fan on soil. Not always possible but in most cases the root ball will come out and hold it all together long enough. GL

    would this work for indoor

The 60 watt equivalent bulbs are 800 lumens and the 100 watts are 1500.

4 weeks into flower, how much bud should there be

Halogen would be worthless but the 60-100 watt equivalent LED bulbs will do the trick. They run generally in the 90- 110 lumens per watt range before the globe is removed. Removing the globe's increases the lux measurements significantly. I personally mix the spectrum with half 2700k and half...

    Screw in grow

Just finished third week. Have one girl that just didn't stretch at all. Front left...... hopefully doesn't drag yield to far down. Frost is coming on heavy on the MOB Boss. One Sour Lemon phenom is a total winner so far, we'll see how she smokes. Of the five lemon I would grow two of the phenos...

4 weeks into flower, how much bud should there be

Cheap screw in LED bulbs. Below the girls are three weeks from flipping switch to flower. I still have hopes for a gram per watt but only time will tell. I have grown many crops under HPS and MH, so I have that as reference during this first grow with this set up. FWIW

    would this work for indoor

Household LED bulbs will do the job better. In my area the best deals are at Family Dollar. Removing the plastic globe makes them even brighter. I use a clip and just tighten until it about pops off , a slight twist and they are off.
