11 days to Dry, then leaving town for 2 weeks.. How can I cure?

You can read about freezer curing in a frost free freezer with the pot in a card board box. Or just jar or bag and freeze it at that 11 day dry phase, then thaw it out and continue with your normal jar and burp cure routine. Been playing with a partial freezer cure, interesting. But you...

    Crop rotation and cannabis

I farm about 4 acres of organic vegetables. Yep crop rotation. I hear you. Some crops actually do well growing on the rotting remains of the previous crop, as long as their was disease. I believe pot to be one of those crops, as wild hemp grows in dense stands year after year, slowly...

Just finished drying smoked a j and would like to no why it taste weird

Me, not so good with time, kinda like the Ents in Lord of the rings..lol... But it's gotta be close to a month of time from chop to dry through and through. Hanging the plant for a slow dry is a couple weeks, then a week or two in the frost free freezer or burping jars. Adds up to near a...

    Good cover crop?

The book "Teaming with Microbes" .Is another good one. On cover crops, what you are really doing at a minimum is trying to hold the ready to absorbe nutrients in place. Cheap quick and easy in the fall, I would suggest rye/vetch mix or even winter wheat. Maybe a little forage radish, peas if...

    Show us the sift

Here is a little 150 micron dry sift. Farmers sift is clean enough for me with just 150 micron, SS screen. I hand crush frozen dried bud. A gentle carding, and the rest goes to coconut oil capsules.. Dynavape does pretty well with my "Washington hash balls" Real nice terpens, smell of...

    Curious New Grower

I have grown indoor photoperiods smaller ( on purpose) and outdoor photoperiod monsters bigger. IHMO the answer to the question originally asked about autos can't be answered easily. It all depends on a frickin slew of variables, generally photoperiods, have the potential for higher yield. Yet...

Cover crops, I can't be 100% positive. But I am pretty sure braicas are very attractive to most moths/butterfly. I got a real wild garden, lots of stuff growing, better for the bugs than the pot. Oh Freezer cure.. yes, been trying it Lately. Like it alot so far. Still slow drying first...

Bummer! I got lots of moths on my farm. They just have better things to eat than pot. Please play around with cover crops for moths even if you take a break.

    Day count

Why if they are bigger they should yield more??. Gotta weigh higher yield against time. Ya? What strain is it. I hate puny plants outside. Give me big super autos!

Reading the breeders info on the strain they are talking max 300 grams for the auto. So thegremling kicked ass with 350 grams! Keep in mind the non auto version is a 12 foot monster that yields kilos!

Interesting, I feel my media is borderline over consumed in my 5 gallon fabric pots outdoors. The plants around 3 feet seem to want more. (I have always been a big pot person with organics, as adding organic nutrients frequently does not have time to be converted by myco and bacteria into...

I don't know are the plants having a second flush in the ground or in pots? ------ Me in 5 gallon fabric grow bags I had one of my Med Gnome's sorta do that, it did not want to finish up evenly, plant started turning with nice fall colors and fading fan leaves. Under fertilization?, The early...
