Definitely NOT styrofoam or perlite. Neither come in blue and definitely not in sickly blue. Growing medium is hydroton, clone was from a clone king cloner....these ladies have never seen perlite. Besides, perlite wouldnt make a plant look like this

I buddy of mine asked my opinion on these odd mold looking nodules we found on his roots. Both of us has been growing for a long time. We've asked around and no one we've asked has ever seen this. The plant from the pick looks like its about dead. CK
