My bad, just double checked my bottle, floralicious grow, edited my post. Floragorw shouldnt give you any issues or cause brown slime, its entirely chemical based and I have used the GH flora series in all my hydro grows. CK

Thats easy, if the sacks open, it ain't shootin blanks ;) and you can visually see then the seeds ripen as they are literally busting out of their pods. I have had more than one case when a seed dropped, I didnt notice it and bang, it sprouted right there with mom but usually 3-6 weeks. CK

I figured out what caused mine and eliminated it from my nute cycle. In my case the culprit was floralicious grow. Once I eliminated it, I gave the roots a good flush with h202 and changed my res everyday for 2-3 days it cleared up and yes, I was in DWC. CK

In short, yes...lol I do any female gardening first, then tend the males, then change and wash up. No need to shower unless you stick your head into your plants, then you would need to wash your hair, but I wash to the elbows before and after. Really, this is a good habit to get into anytime...

Everyone is very quick around here to call root rot. More than likely, however, your dealing with brown slime. The gel you see...does it look like snot? Any smell? Did you add any new nutrients to your res recently? Brown slime can affect you even with a lightproof res and TONS of dissolved...
