Yes I do know the difference, the main differences is; hydro doesn't use soil so no pests, explosive root growth, have a much higher veg growth, higher yields, much more ph anal. Soil is easier, but chances of pests(sticky traps for this), yields less (compost teas can change this potentially)...

I Just to topdress. Have you tried experimenting with this? What's wrong with topping off with a organic blend of nutes? Too many dank buds after harvesting maybe? Compost teas and quantum boards seem relatively new, but I only see benefits for this (if done properly with adequate research).

I used tap water I let sit for 24 hours. It depends on the city you live in, some places do have cleaner water. My city's tds reads 80. No issues. Even when I didn't dechroinate the water in the beginging (I know), the plants still held up. Growth was most likely slowed though.

That's pretty high ppm for that stage, you want to aim for 300-700ppm. Try adding hydroguard or mycorhizae Fungi to stimulate root growth. Always check pH as well.

Apparently 'root organic: terp tea bloom' does have crab, fish and bat shit. I will be looking into alternatives, thank you. If I do not pH correct it to 6.0 before application, my soil pH will shoot to 7.5+. Sure some microbial life will perish, but not all. At least the water isn't useless and...
