    Thank you for the advice

    Finish date guess-timation

I only care because I thought it could affect the plants even in the last week of growth. I had trouble with salt buildup in earlier growth stages and thought it may still be an issue.

    Finish date guess-timation

I am going to throw away the medium, but I don't want salt buildup to affect my plants. I was only using 500ppm nutrient solution when my plants got nutrient burn, and other people attributed that to built up salts in the coco. Some people recommend using low ppm rinses every few weeks in coco...

    Did I ruin my flowers?

I am growing in coco and am about a week away from harvest. Around week 4 of flower I let salt buildup happen and I had nutrient burn and signs of too much nitrogen. I have reduced the nitrogen in my feedings now, but my sugar leaves are cupping/"canoed" downwards and have other signs of...

    Finish date guess-timation

So coco does not have problems with salt buildup? Or is it that FloraKleen does not help to wash it away? I would like to get rid of excess salts that I can see at the top of my pots, and low ppm water is not taking it away. What should I do?

    Finish date guess-timation

What about FloraKleen? I think it has glucose and other sugars in it, but they are marketed as a way to help remove built up salts in the grow medium. I have noticed white salt buildup at the top of my pots, and was hoping the FloraKleen would help remove it. Low ppm feedings has not helped...

    Finish date guess-timation

I'm growing in coco if that helps. I was planning on doing a 1 week flush, starting off with some FloraKleen at the beginning of the flush. I'm just not sure if I should start the flush yet, since my plants may be behind on ripening.

    Finish date guess-timation

I am 60 days into flowering, and the breeder suggests it is a 9 week strain. The trichomes are mostly clear with around 15-20% cloudy and basically no amber ones. Can anyone give an educated guess on when they might finish? I want to know when to start flushing, as I don't want the plants to be...

Main stem split 8 weeks into flower

Thank you. Do you have any advice for how to estimate when the plant will be done? If I do decide to do a one week flush, how do I tell that the plant is about 1 week away? Can I go off the color of the stigmas or the trichomes somehow?

Main stem split 8 weeks into flower

The title says it all: something fell on my plant and it split the main stem down the middle. No matter how much I squeezed the stem, the gap in the stem would not close all the way. I used zip ties to close it as much as possible. I have about 10 days left of flushing before harvest, and I...

    Foxtails?

What distance is more optimal? I'm using a Viparapectra v1200.

    Foxtails?

If I cut the ugly growth off now, would anything bad happen to those buds? I picked a couple of the weirdest looking ones off yesterday. Hoping that wasn't a bad idea.

    Foxtails?

What is strange is that the buds that are getting extra light from a supplemental 80W COB LED are showing this the most. There are also regions showong this that are in low light. So may be I have too little light and too much light in different areas of the tent.

    Foxtails?

I am growing under a 600W (actual draw) LED about 22 inches from the highest point of my plants. I am less than 2 weeks away from harvest, and I started noticing some strange looking growth at the tips of some buds. There seems to be a thin stem with some bracts poking up from the top of some of...

Coco grow: Twisted leaves and brown between veins

Thanks again for all your advice.

Coco grow: Twisted leaves and brown between veins

No, it is 520W draw from the wall. 600W actual draw if I include the COB. The strange thing to me is that the buds are just as big in the corners of the tent where the light is weakest. I would expect the centers to be getting more energy and growth, but that is not what I am seeing.

Coco grow: Twisted leaves and brown between veins

I'm using a 500W "blurple" led and have added a 75W 3000K color temperature COB in one corner of the tent as a supplemental light and to see if it has any effect. I will try to reduce the nitrogen I am feeding, thank you for the advice. The twisting of the sugar leaves is hard to capture on...

Coco grow: Twisted leaves and brown between veins

How can you tell that my 400ppm is too much? Is it possible that I burned them much earlier in flower, and that now I'm low on nutrients? I'm just wondering since 400ppm seems low to me, especially since 100ppm of that is cal-mag (from GH CaliMagic). Last question I have for you is so you think...

Coco grow: Twisted leaves and brown between veins

I'm using GH Flora series, but just the 3 base nutrients in the lineup plus some Cal-mag.

Coco grow: Twisted leaves and brown between veins

I have been using 0.8 ec (400ppm), so I'm not sure what you mean. I would like to know if this is a deficiency or a toxicity of some kind. I will make sure the coco does not dry out between waterings. I'm still confused by the brown patches and the twisted leaves, as I haven't really let the...
