Does this very cheap LED unit (including driver) interest you?

I'd say buy a few at that price. I'm using the Samsung smd5630 strips for veg and side lighting and I love them. nice diffused light from the multiple point sources means plants can get really close like T5.

Hahaha yeah bloody spellcheck - bane of my life! hehe Actually I thought of you the other day cos I was having some trouble with one of my blumats... it had been swinging from bone dry to runaway after each tiny adjustment so I figured there must be a bit of an air bubble in that carrot. I...

    Twist's Tropical Indoor Garden

Just a little update for the good folks of RIU As you can see the little 3ft flower tent is ticking along nicely, but slowly, at 37 days since flip. I feel like it's a week behind where it would normally be at this stage, and I put that down to not having the far reds in there until around...

    Twist's Tropical Indoor Garden

Thanks a lot brother, I appreciate the words :) I'm dealing with 87-90C ambient temps through the summer, and RH that very rarely gets below 70% lol. I normally try to keep around 85C at the canopy, and I use my very expensive house AC to bring the humidity down a little bit right before...

Best LED Setup for 3'X2' Box

The answer still stands. Yes he was out of his mind to buy a 2nd Mars light when he could have bought something much better. Clearly the OP did just want a pat on the back for his decision, and that's fine. You made him feel like he did not make a mistake, so all is good in the universe. The...

    The far red thread

I haven't done a side by side, but I have run the same cut with and without far reds at lights out, and it finishes faster with the far reds. I am confident enough in it's effectiveness that I personally wouldn't even bother to run a side by side to test for faster flowering. How much it can...
