    Bridgelux EB Series Build

You might be right. I haven't priced out the Vero's so I'll take your word for it. I have done the whole CPU cooler thing and I'm over it. I am all about keeping it simple these days. Strips on angles is cheap and easy.

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

Yeah I'm doing very similar nowadays - Samsungs or EBs straight onto alu angle. It is pretty much the cheapest good DIY option out there right now I think. It's so easy and no shipping heavy heatsinks!

    Quantum Board Numbers.

OP why not buy a few boards and test them out, before investing the full $3000. If you are a non-believer after everything you have seen so far then I think you will need to grow with them yourself to really find out. There is nothing magic or really even different about smd chips... it is just...

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

Yeah I've been running various Samsungs for a while now and I absolutely love them. No doubt these will be very similar in performance. Diffused light is absolutely the way forward. Orca film is my other fetish for the same reason. Cheers

    samsung hard strips

Put a bunch of the hard strips on the ceiling and maybe a few vertically for good measure. You will be able to get the plants really close and take advantage of every bit of vertical space. What are the other dimensions? Edit: my bad, I just saw u listed dimensions... So you can easily fit the...

    samsung hard strips

The Samsung L04 is pretty cheap at around $11 each. They need approx 24V each; so to drive two you'd need 48V from the driver. It depends how hard you want to run them, as to which driver to choose, but Meanwell LPC-60-1050 is a pretty nice fit. This driver is not dimmable tho. In fact most of...

Does this very cheap LED unit (including driver) interest you?

Yeah they can work fine for top-lighting too... especially in a height restricted space. For this very reason I use them in my small veg space and my little flower tent too. They can make a great panel for sure and of course they get more efficient the softer you drive them. Nextlight make...
