    Indoor vs Outdoor

Pics would help. How do the pistils look? Have they turned brown and dried up? Are you looking at the trichomes on the calyxes or the sugar leaves? Also, are they all clones or from seed? Different cultivars of the same strain from seed can vary widely in frost and finishing times.

This sativa dom is about where I like it, I really want the "up" to be emphasized. This is my second time growing it. Maxwell's Silver Hammer. https://oregongreenseed.com/shop/oregon-green-seed/djc/maxwells-silver-hammer-2/

Looks like stuff starts coming down this week. This pollen chuck just isn't going to do much more! The plant with the worst leaf septoria, but no rot so far, thanks in large part to the drought.

    Spraying in flower

This won't have much impact on caterpillars, but it can help limit the damage they do and you can use it all the way to harvest. It is a formulation of hydrogen peroxide that is much more effective than the stuff we can buy at the store for home use. And you can wash your buds with it as well...

Have you found any really strong pine aroma plants? I only had one with that smell out of 5 plants over 2 years.

I'm amazed every year at how fast some strains mature! A friend gave me a Double OG Chem from Rebel Grown and that plant is exploding! Not hard to see why Rebel Grown got Breeder of the Year at The Emerald cup, again, this year!

We are in moderate drought in Oklahoma where I live and I couldn't be happier! It is giving me a fighting chance against the leaf septoria. The other thing I have noticed is virtually no bud worms this year! I noticed last night there were almost no moths flying around the security light, no...

    Septoria Resistant Strains

Thanks for sharing strains that you find resistant, and sharing the ones that don't do well! This is how we move forward, I think.

Amen! I had forgotten both the lemon and the autoflower experiences I have had!

Never had buds look like this so early…

It sounds like you are really on top of your grows! The plant will tell you when it is done if you let it!

See which plants don't get the spots as well. The future for outdoor growers is finding resistant strains, this is not a problem you can spray your way out of, in the long run!

    Strains you Avoid? and Why?

I think more in terms of dealing with a handful of reputable breeders than searching out strains. There is a chronic lack of standardization and consistency in the naming of strains, largely do to money and hype. Add to this peoples subjective opinions of the effects of a given strain, shared...
