hank, eventually you would have to give the plant twelve hours of darkness to induce flowering. that is unless the strain is autoflowering, which isn't likely.

for some reason i got the idea that you only wanted to flower, therefore only needing 12 hours of light at the most. but yeah 24 hours...just double it and it's still around half the price he is asking.

if you are that sketched out, i'd go ahead and harvest. Either way you will have smokable product in the end. You say they've been flowering for 6 weeks and from the picture it doesn't look to be a strong sativa so they should finish up in 8/9 weeks.

i don't understand your reasoning...if you are starting the plants for next year very soon why wouldn't you just finish them inside in about 4 months...then start another grow inside a month before spring? it just doesn't make sense to veg a plant for 5+ months then put it outside only to veg...

for 12 hours a day and a rate of say 10 cents a kwh, 1.20 a day... like 36 bucks a month. 10 cents p/kwh is around the average in the US. but $150 is a bit out of the question.

like tboy said just go 12/12 and they will automatically flower as soon as physically possbile.

i think he has one cfl which is rated for 125 incandescent watts. i'm not totally sure though.
