That’s cool we all have to start somewhere. You definitely need drainage. I use fox farm and no nutes. Have been for over 10 years and I wouldn’t change anything. Good luck

You don’t have to do all that. Fox farm doesn’t require the water to be ph’d. I used to do it for years. I quit and I can tell you it makes no difference. What do you mean your pots bottoms are closed off?
