Fireballs? Hot dog?! I'm thinking one wouldn't want to trust their ability to stand up on a canna stalk! I think hickory or some other type of HARD wood would be more reliable :-) There're plenty of awesom things that could be done with em.

They grow through the trellis just fine, it'll provide much needed support once buds start packing on. Been spending allot of time cleaning out the insides of the plants. If a branch/shoot doesn't make it to the light it gets clipped. The tarp is over the nursery greenhouse.

All our sour d has gotten real big, starting to see what I think is the beginning of stretch phase,,, looks like they'll be pretty lanky.
